Lenten & Easter Schedule

LENT

Ash Wednesday – February 26th, 2020
Masses: 7:00, 10:00 AM, 5:00, 6:30 PM (Ashes will be distributed during these Masses)

Daily Mass:
Monday through – Friday 7:00AM

Thursdays of Lent:
Mass, Holy Hour, confessions: 6:30 – 7:30 PM

Fridays of Lent:
Holy Hour: 11:00 – 12:00 Noon
Priests will be available for Confessions during the Holy Hour in their confessionals
Stations of the Cross
6:00 PM – Following The Stations,
a priest will be available for confession in one of the confessionals

Monday, March 30th:
Parish Penance Service, 6:30 – 7:30 PM
Holy Hour, priests will be available for confession during the hour.

HOLY WEEK

Palm Sunday:
April 4th 5:00 PM, April 5th 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 AM
Palm will be blessed at every Mass

Monday, April 6th – Chrism Mass at the Cathedral:
5:00 PM
(The Holy Oils: The Chrism, The Oil of the Sick, and The Holy Oil used
at Baptism, will be blessed by the bishop and the priests during this Mass.
These oils will be used throughout the year 2020/2021, until next Holy Thursday)

Holy Thursday – (There will be no morning Mass on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of Holy Week)
April 9th, Mass of the Lord’s Supper, 7:00 PM
(Prayer at the repository until 11:00 PM)

Good Friday:
April 10th, The Lord’s Passion, 3:00 and 6:30 PM

EASTER

Easter Vigil: (Holy Saturday)
April 11th – 8:00 PM (Please note: there is never a Mass before the Easter Vigil; hence no 5:00 PM)

Easter Sunday:
April 12th – Masses at 8:00, 9:30, and 9:30, in the lower church, and 11:00 AM
