CONGRATULATIONS TO Deacon Robert and Elaine Morisseau in winning The Lumen Gentium Award for Catholic Education! 

On May 14th, 2014, the Diocese of Providence will host the Second Annual Lumen Gentium Awards Dinner. The purpose of this event is to honor individuals who have significant contributions to the life of the Church in the Diocese of Providence. The recipients have been identified as outstanding men and women whose service and personal holiness testify to Christ’s presence in His Church as well as His concern for the well-being and salvation of the world. This award is given to those people in the Diocese who have demonstrated a commitment to the mission of Catholic education. Any adults wishing to support Deacon Bob and Elaine Morisseau as they receive their award from Bishop Tobin may purchase tickets to the Lumen Gentium Banquet at www.diocespvd.org. The banquet and award ceremony will be held at the Twin River Event Center on May 14th, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Twin River’s Event Center is located at 100 River Road, Lincoln, RI. All proceeds from the evening will be used to support the parish food assistance programs throughout the Diocese of Providence.
