HELPING HANDS MINISTRY
Plans for the Up-Coming Holidays

Dear Parishioners,

Due to covid-19, there will be some changes in how our Helping Hands Ministry will respond to those who need help during the up-coming Holiday Season.

Thanksgiving dinners will be provided for any one in St. Peter Parish. We will not be providing help to any outside agencies, at least for this year. In a few weeks, a form will be put in the bulletin that can be filled out and returned to the parish office. All we need is your name, phone number, and the number of persons in your household. Someone from Helping Hands ministry will contact you with the easiest and safest way to pick up the food.

Parishioners will be asked to provide non-perishable items for the food pantry. Donations of market gift cards instead of turkeys will help with the preparation and distribution of individual food baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Due to covid-19 there will be no giving tree this year, however, gift cards from a variety of stores will be needed. These cards will be given to those who request help with their shopping this Christmas.

More details will be provided as we get closer to the up-coming holidays. As always Helping Hands Ministry will continue to provide support for the needs of our parishioners now, and through the coming winter season. If you have any questions please call 461-3157, and someone from Helping Hands Ministry will return your call.

Thank you for your anticipated generosity, as we continue to respond to the needs of our parishioners during these challenging times.

Gratefully Yours,
Father Gagne
