Dear Parishioners,

       Considering the recent cautions and concerns for public health during this present health emergency, St. Peter Church, following the directives of local health officials will observe the Sacred Triduum in the following ways.

Palm Sunday: Mass will be recorded and available for viewing from Saturday, April 4th at 12:00 noon. Palms will be blessed on Saturday, April 4th, and will be available for pick up by the faithful in baskets outside each entrance during the following times: 
Saturday, April 4th between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
Sunday, April 5th between 9:00 AM and 12:00 noon.

Holy Thursday: Mass will be celebrated privately sometime during the day.The Blessed Sacrament will remain in the main tabernacle, and the church will remain open until 6:00 PM.

Good Friday: The Solemn Celebration of the Lord’s Passion will be celebrated privately. The church will remain open until 6:00 PM.

Holy Saturday: A shortened version of the Easter Vigil Liturgy will be celebrated Privately.

Easter Sunday:
Easter Sunday Mass will be prerecorded and available for viewing on Easter Sunday. The church will be decorated for Easter with flowers and the Easter Candle will remain lit from 8:00 AM until 12:00 noon, the church will be closed at 12:00 noon. My Easter message will be online along with the parish bulletin.

The Chrism Mass is postponed until such time as it can be celebrated at a time when public worship will resume.

CONFESSIONS: Saturday, April 4th, 4:00 – 4:30 PM.

Please continue to drop off your budgets, donations and tuition payments in the mail slot at the front door of the rectory. Thank you for your continued support and prayers. Your continued support is most needed for our parish and school to remain solvent during this time of social distancing. If you need anything, please call the office at 467-4895.

May we continue to see in this time of illness, an opportunity to deepen our prayer life, share our faith with others, and realize that what makes us church is in our service and love of neighbor. We might be socially distancing, but we remain spiritually connected. Msgr. and I continue to remember you in all our prayers and Masses. We are here for you.
