ESTATE PLANNING AND YOUR PARISH
Dear Parishioners,
During this past year several deceased parishioners included St. Peter Parish and School in their estate plans prior to their passing. To date, we have received almost $30,000 from people who made provisions for their parish in their last will and testaments.
I ask you to remember your parish when making your will and financial arrangements. It is an easy way to thank your parish and school for all they have meant to you and your family over the years.
There are a number of ways to set up trusts and bequests to provide for the charities of your choice. When you fail to make final plans, your resources could end up going to the state and legal fees. By making plans prior to your passing, you have the peace of mind to know, that after you die, your estate will benefit those you care about.
If you have any questions please call me at 467-4895. You can also call Andrea Krupp at 278-4615 or Rich Popovic at the office of Stewardship and Development at 277-2121, to discuss a variety of ways to include your parish in your estate planning.
May God continue to bless the good works he has begun in us. Let us remember each other in out prayers.
Sincerely Yours,
Rev. Roger C. Gagne
Pastor
