Dear Parishioners,

As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, with less people around our tables, we nevertheless take this time of year to express our gratitude to God and each other for the many blessings we have received during this past year.

I want to express my thanks for your generous support for your parish and school, as well as your support for me and Msgr. Iacovacci during this difficult time.

In the midst of darkness, human suffering and unprecedented political and civil unrest, you have been a beacon of light. You continue to be the best in all of us, by the daily living out of your faith. Your example gives me the strength to continue serving you as your pastor. Together we will continue to serve the people of our community, especially our children, the poor, the sick, and all who rely on our prayers and support.

I pray that the covid-19 vaccine will soon be available and bring this pandemic to an end within the next few months. I look forward to the day when we will be able to celebrate the liturgy without masks, and with our choir, altar servers, and ministers.

As St. Paul writes in his First Letter to the Thessalonians, “We give thanks to God always for all of you, remembering you in our prayers, unceasingly calling to mind your work of faith and labor of love and endurance in hope of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

You will have a special remembrance at the 9:00 AM Thanksgiving morning. May God continue to bless you with every good gift. I ask for a remembrance in your prayers as well.

Gratefully Yours,
Father Gagne
